This year has brought a lot of change. Subtle. Perhaps unrecognizable, even to me. I guess it’s inevitable. Change is always happening in the forefront, in the background, quietly, or banging over your head loud as hell. I see it all around me and in everyone I know. I often desire it for myself when I seem to be living the same life, day after day. But then I fear it too, the life altering changes anyway. The change I want is always nuanced. Like how the air shifts with the seasons, when the breeze carries with it something new. . ‘Morning Air’ / ’Reveal’ / ‘Alms’

this summer I’ve wandered, observed, and absorbed moments in my mind. I photographed and noted the colors and feeling of the places we traveled. objects came came into focus, time often stood still. as the memories settle, new paintings emerge.
