We've been down in Mexico for a week now and I'm sure thankful for that. I've been sleeping, taking long walks, staring at the ocean, playing with the kids, reading magazines, having great conversations, eating long meals, and catching up on movies. You know, living. But living like I had not been living for awhile. Life has been so busy. Busy with really good things, but a little too busy. You know what I mean?

Life here is slow. Everyday we drive dirt roads and walk endless stretches of empty beach. My head is clear. My world feels calm. From here, I see things differently, I can get perspective. Looking around I have a lot to be thankful for. It's been a good year with a lot of growth, a lot of accomplishments, and a lot of happiness.

It's a beautiful morning and I'm off for a walk. More family arrived last night, so we're looking forward to a really fun holiday. For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope you are too.
