A photo of Ruth Asawa's work has hung on my metal board for years, along with these photos of her creating with her children beside her. It's the blurred line between work and life that I love. The intermingling of both. Creating with your children, living amidst your creations. Life inspires work, work inspires life.
Ruth Asawa passed away last week. Looking at her work, my six year old asked, "I know she's an artist, but is she also a genius?"
I think so.
